Superclass: mred:clever-file-format-edit%

The buffer chains the keymap mred:global-file-keymap to it's keymap and calls mred:set-keymap-error-handler and mred:set-keymap-implied-shifts on the keymap.

This file locks itself when the file it refers to is not writable and unlocks itself when it is.

      line-spacing = 1.0 : inexact real
      tabstops = null : boxed inexact real or null
      numtabs = 0 : small integer

  Initializes the buffer's keymap, calling

  • mred:set-keymap-error-handler,
  • mred:set-keymap-implied-shifts,
  • and (send keymap chain-to-keymap mred:global-keymap #f).
