This week’s readings are: -Ten Principles of Disability Justice -Challenging ableism: A critical turn toward disability justice in HCI

Reading questions:

What is something that this class does, or could do, that embodies a principle of disability justice? Define the principle and explain.

How might your group’s project including multiply disabled people (or multiple people with varied disabilities?). How, if at all, might any other identity impact this (e.g. language identity, cultural identity, etc)

Reading questions:

Think about attending lecture for a course you are in this quarter. What is an example of an activity that happens during lecture? What is the environment, sequence of interactions, objects (if any), and users that activity entails?

What is one thing we can do to increase participation of people with disabilities in higher education?
