The goal of the class final project is to build an accessibility technology or make an existing technology more accessible.

Project Requirements & Competencies

G = required group competency; I = required individual competency; O = optional competency

Week 2: Project Research (Group): Prepare for working on your project by researching first-person accounts to support inclusive, person-centered design
Week 3: AEIOU Analysis: Analyze how your design proposal addresses AEIOU framework considerations
Week 4: Design Proposal (Group): Present your design concept based on your AEIOU analysis and project research
Week : Prototype (Group): Create an accessible interactive prototype
Week : Study Design and Results (group): Design an accessible study and run it
Week 11: Final Poster and Presentation: Create an accessible poster and prepare a pitch presentation for the in-person poster session
Week : Final Writeup: Document your complete project including client input, design decisions, and accessibility audit
