The homework assignments are posted here. They are generally assigned on Wednesday, and due on Wednesday of the following week, although this may vary somewhat during the quarter.

Late Policy

Programming homework assignments have fixed deadlines. Late homework is not accepted. It is important that you not fall behind in this class. Do the homework when it is assigned and don't wait until the last minute!

Grades

Your grades are available over the web through your MyUW account. You need your UWNetID and password in order to get access. Click here for instructions on how to configure your MyUW account to display your grades.

  • Homework 1. Due Wednesday, July 3, BEFORE MIDNIGHT. There is a zip file (cse142-hw1.zip) containing the writeup I handed out in class, and some skeleton code. The writeup contains Practice Problems, Graded Problems, and a Programming Problem.

    Electronic turn-in: Use this turnin form to submit your homework. Your final turnin needs to include the files from both the Graded Problems and the Programming Project.

  • Homework 2. Due Wednesday, July 10, BEFORE MIDNIGHT. There is a zip file (cse142-hw2.zip) containing the writeup I handed out in class, and some skeleton code. The writeup contains Practice Problems, Graded Problems, and a Programming Problem.

    Electronic turn-in: Use this turnin form to submit your homework. Your final turnin needs to include the files from both the Graded Problems and the Programming Project.
