Working at Home

To work on web programming at home, we recommend that you install the following software:

• Firefox web browser, v2.x
• Firebug add-on for Firefox, v1.0
• TextPad text editor (Windows), or ...
• Smultron text editor (Mac)
• SSH Tectia file transfer program (Windows), or WinSCP if that doesn't work, or ...
• Secure Fetch (Mac)

We probably won't provide detailed instructions for installing these programs. If you get stuck, please contact Marty and/or the TAs for help.
