Superclass: wx:object%

There is one wx:font-name-directory% object: wx:the-font-name-directory. It maps face names and font ids to system- and device-specific font names. These names are primarily used internally, such as for the wx:post-script-dc% class.

Font ids are invented by the font name directory and are only useful as mapping indices. The mappings are set up by reading system-dependent resource files.
