This version was done per the lab instructions. Notice that it is somewhat plain looking. This is okay and perfectly functional. However, what if we want to improve its appearance?
Here is a version with additional design features to make it stand out more and make it more aesthetically pleasing. However, some features of this version, like the bright yellow, can distract from the content. For example, we may want to tone down the yellow to a more neutral color. This might be another shade of gray or simply a color that is not so bright. It is important to take all of these things into account when designing spreadsheets. You can make the grids around the cells by selecting the grid tool which is to the right of the underline tool.
