Change your password

(NOTE: feel free to skip this page if you set or changed your password within the last 90 days.)

1. In the UW NetID box shown in fig. 3, how long has it been since you changed your UW NetID password? How long has it been since the password was changed in fig. 3?

2. Click on Change Your UW NetID button to see the page shown in fig. 4.

3. Choose a new password following the suggestions on the page. Why do you think you have to enter your old password? Why do you have to enter your new password twice?

4. When you have a strong password, click OK.

5. Return to MyUW. HINT: It will be open in another tab or window.
