Homework #2

Create a plain text file

Start with either a PC or a Mac (a little info about opening applications on a Mac can be found here)

1. Open a text editor (what is a text editor? Go here to find out)


2. Type the following information:

   The title: Homework 2
   your name
   student ID
   your lab section
   the name of the text editor you are using
   the name of the browser you are using to view these instructions (Go here for some information about browsers).
   the name of the operating system you are using (i.e. “Windows XP”, “Windows Vista” or “Mac OSX”)

3. Save this file as Hw2.txt
