The Mac

There are 2 major ways to open an application in a Mac:

One is to click on the icon in the "Dock" (the bar of icons which is either on the side or the bottom of the screen):

The other is to open the Applications Folder which will be on the hard drive (you'll see this icon in the upper righthand corner of the screen):
