Course Description

This course privdes an introduction to computational biology. Especially, this quarter's focus will be on probabilistic model-based approaches developed for solving problems in molecular biology and genetics. Specific topics include: reconstructing biological networks from experimental data; microarray gene expression data analysis; analysis of genome-wide association studies data; haplotype inference and genotype imputation.
