Email: jrw12@cs.washington.edu

About: I am a teaching professor here at UW CSE, where I teach everything from CSE 123 introduction to programming to CSE 505 graduate programming languages. This is my 8th time teaching 331 and my first time co-teaching it with Zach! Fun fact: before joining the faculty at UW, I did my PhD here advised by this guy named Zach Tatlock. You can find more about me on my website. Looking forward to working with you all this quarter!

About: Howdy! I'm a professor in the PLSE group here at the Allen School. I work with students doing research in compiler verification, equality saturation, numerics, fabrication and more. I did my BS degrees in CS and Math at Purdue back in 2007 and my PhD at UC San Diego in 2013 where I learned about the best burritos in the world! Outside of the lab, I help organize the Race Condition Running club, try to practice mindfulness, listen to a lot of Elder, avidly follow Blondihacks, and love reading Greg Egan books. This quarter I'm co-teaching 331 with James, and I am SUPER STOKED to work through all these amazing topics together :D
