* Here is a set of 60 review questions and its print form. * There is an ERROR in Project 3. In the computation for the tracking number, the Visual Basic code shows an underscore(_) just before the word "Year". Do not type the underscore, but do type the whole statement on one line. Thanks to Ashley Watson for tracking :) down this bug. * The eSubmit link for Project 3b is now available. * There will be a review session on Saturday March 15, 2003 at 12:00-1:30 in Bagley Hall, 261. I plan only to answer your questions. * Use your own solution to Project 3a if possible, since it is your design. If you did not do Project 3a, here is a database solution for Project 3a. Grab it with IE and save it to your desktop. * The eSubmit link for Project 3a is now available. * A copy of the JavaScript for Project 2c will be here after the "grace day" is over. * The due date for Project 2d has been extended to Friday. * A copy of the JavaScript for Project 2b will be here after the "grace day" is over. * A copy of the fall Midterm #2 has been posted under exams. * There have been requests for more examples in the surveys and class comments, so I have prepared a couple of pages of examples (printable), which should show some of the alternative ways of doing operations that you need for the Project. * FIT100 is the really tough right now! I want to know what's your toughest problem. So, please, answer my survey request. Thanks. * The due dates, which were always right on the calendar, but terribly messed up on the actual Project 2 assignment, have been fixed. Sorry for any inconvenience. * Project 1b is due Monday, February 3rd. Instruction 11 of Part B says it is to be turned on Friday, but that is wrong. * I have posted the fall term's first Midterm under "Exams." I don't give the answers ... working them out is probably a good way to study for Monday's Midterm. * If you didn't turn in a hardcopy of your Web page -- either because you published it on time, but didn't print it, or you didn't get it published on time and you're taking your free day -- please email a copy of your page's source to your TA. * If you are having a problem publishing your Web page because of "permissions", please check out this page. * Because of MLK holiday Monday/Tuesday labs are canceled. * Textbooks have been reordered and will arrive at UBookstore Tuesday or Wednesday (1/15). You can be sure to get a copy by filling out a form there. Meanwhile, the whole book is online: http://www.aw.com/snyder/ * Labs for Monday January 13. Because of a scheduling conflict Labs AA and AB will not be held on Monday January 13 only. Students should attend one of the Tuesday lab classes instead. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
