Assignments Note: All reading assignments are shown on the Calendar page. Assignment 2: There was a question of color in class: Why is yellow produced for the monitor as full intensity red, full intensity green and no blue rather than being a primary color (like we learned in art class)? Find the answer on the WWW using Google Advanced Search. Send email to your TA with the query you used to find the answer, the URL of the page where you got the answer, and a short 1 paragraph explanation in your own words of the reason. Due Wednesday (22 January 2003) before class. Assignment 1: Find a Macintosh computer on campus, e.g. MGH or OUGL labs. Try out the Mac and see what you find familiar and what is different. Locate the browser, and from the Mac send your TA an email message describing five features you find different and five you find the same compared to the PC. Due Monday (13
January 2003) before class. | |
