The IPL is a place to get help with 12x/14x programming assignments. TAs are on duty there to answer questions.
The IPL is located on the third floor of Mary Gates Hall in room 334. It's often open from 12:30pm to 9:30pm five days a week. The room is equipped with computers with all the necessary software, as well as desks with plugins for those students who prefer to work on their own personal laptops.
The fundamental idea behind the IPL is to provide students with a first-come, first-serve place to get help. TAs will guide students through the processes of debugging and planning programs in order to teach students to become self-sufficient programmers.
