At SODA, David Johnson announced that the entire Editorial Board of J. of Algorithms has or will resign. There will be a new ACM Transactions on Algorithms started in several months to a year.

Most likely the publisher of J. of Algorithms will try to find a new editor to continue the journal.

If you have a paper submitted to J. of Algorithms it is probably best not to withdraw it because all Editors are committed to finish up the papers they now have.

    Richard
