You can give your answer in English rather than math. However, remember
that your answer should depend on aspects of the network, for instance:
When is the failure detected? How many nodes and/or links are in the
network? How many hops is the path between the pair of nodes that are
farthest apart (the diameter)?
Assume you can know everything about the network, including the complete
topology and all propagation delays.
