Assignment 1.1: Individual Brainstorm
Due: Friday, October 2, 10:00
This assignment is a component of Milestone 1. Be sure you have reviewed that larger context for this assignment.
The goal of this assignment is to help get you started in thinking of ideas for potential projects. Submit your ideas before Friday's studio, where you will discuss potential project directions and refine your ideas.
Propose three potential ideas related to the course theme, Designing for Joy, that could form the basis of a group project. Ask yourself: What would someone regret not having done more of at the end of their lives? Then design to support more of it.
Each idea should be just a sentence or two, identifying the domain and the problem, goal, or opportunity. Your ideas must be significantly different, not small variations on the same idea.

Clarity and presentation are considered throughout the rubric, even when they do not have a separate point allocation.
Your score on this assignment counts toward Milestone 1's total of 100 points. Milestone 1 as a whole is worth 5% of the overall course grade.
