Video Prototype ReportWe decided to do a storyboard showing the 3 scenarios using our HealthMate app. Each of us came out with 3 different storyboards and we picked the ones that we agreed for the selected storyboard. Then we thought about what scene to shoot and the actors involved with the script.
Next, we were planning to whether say what we are pressing on the prototype or have someone narrate. Also we liked the idea that we should show the prototype in split screen with the video. We shot every scene and decided to have backup footage to allow flexibility when we’re going to edit the video. After we shot the footage of the person working out at IMA, we made videos of someone holding and interacting with the interface. At this stage, we decided to take pictures because it would be easier to see the interface.
Due to the problems we encountered with the software and our video and audio quality, we had to use a technique similar to an anime book where you see part videos and part photos. We also made the video fast forward when it wasn’t an important task.
