1. Subscribe to the class mailing list.
2. Read the administrative policies for the course.
3. Figure out how to log into your instructional Unix account remotely.
4. Type sml to start the interactive Standard ML of New Jersey interpreter.
5. Try typing in a few of the expressions from Ullman chapter 2.
6. Type Control-D to exit the interpreter.
7. Copy and paste a transcript of your Unix session into an email, and send it to Sandra.
