As stated on the first day of class, you are responsible for knowing and following all the policies on this web page.
You must subscribe to the mailing list and check email at least once a day. Therefore, you are responsible for receiving communications posted on the class email list within a day of the time it is posted.
There will probably be homework every week, and you will generally have a week to complete each homework or project part.
All homework should be done individually unless otherwise noted on the homework writeup. You may speak with other students about the homework, but you must be able to reconstruct your homework from your own head.
If you do not actually perform the homework, you will not learn the material. Ergo you will be wasting your time, your instructors' time, your tuition money, and the state's resources. That's a bad thing to do. See below under "exams and quizzes" for another reason to abide by this rule.
There will be a midterm and a final. The final will be comprehensive. Do not schedule trips or absences during the scheduled final exam or midterm week (probably week 5). No makeup exams will be given.
We reserve the right to have a pop quiz on any class day. Anything covered in class, assigned as reading, or performed as part of an assigned homework is fair game.
