  • Welcome to CSE 312! Probability is one of the most fundamental concepts in modern science and is immensely useful in all areas of computer science. In my own research on cryptography, we deal with randomness and probability all the time, because if there is no randomness, there are no secrets, and hence there is no security and privacy.
