Adrian Salguero (he/him) | asalguer@cs

Hi all, I’m Adrian! I’m an Assistant Teaching Professor here at the Allen School. I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz and earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science at UC San Diego. I’m originally from Los Angeles and spent most of life in California. In my free time I enjoy weightlifting, running, playing dodgeball, watching baseball, reading comics, and playing video games (always looking for game recommendations!). Feel free to stop by my office hours or reach out via email if you have any questions regarding the course, computer science in general, or just want to chat!
Emmanuel Azuh Mensah (he/him) | Section AF/AG | emazuh@cs

Hi everyone, I am a PhD student in the ICT for Development Lab within the Allen school. My research mainly focuses on developing efficient machine learning models for ecological wildlife monitoring. Conversation Starter: I am initially from Ghana and into international development and Afro-carribean music.
Skyler Choi (she/her) | Section AA | yschoiuw@uw.edu

Hi everyone! My name is Skyler Choi, and I’m senior undergraduate Bioengineering student focusing on data science, with a minor in applied math. When I am not working or studying (or in lab), I love exploring good matcha places study spots, and restaurants. So if you ever need recommendations, feel free to ask! (And I am always happy to share some great Korean food spots too 👀) I also tend to fall into Wikipedia rabbit holes late at night when I should definitely be sleeping, so if you enjoy random facts, we’ll get along well! I took CSE 163 last fall, and I’m really excited to help teach and share the things I learned. Looking forward to meeting all of you this quarter!
Katie Gower (she/her) | Section AE/AG | ktgower@uw.edu

I’m a fourth year statistics student. Outside of school, I like to dance, cook, and do improv. This is my second quarter with CSE 163 and fifth quarter TAing overall.

Johnny Nguyen (he/him) | Section AB | dtn24@cs

What’s up, 163 programmers! My name is Johnny, and I’m a Senior at the Allen School. If I am not at the Allen School computer lab, you’d find me either running on the trail, lifting at the IMA, listening to/playing music, or walking around Seattle with my film camera. Hyped to be working with y’all, and let’s have a killer quarter.
