Never made one before? Don't worry, it's easy to make you own string art. Keep on reading for the instructions.
Materials:
- A piece of wood cut to the desired size; you can stain or paint it if you wish
- Linoleum nails
- A template
- String of your choice
- A writing tool to trace
Steps:
- Start by printing out a template for the pattern you want to use. You can also draw on paper if you want. Then cut out the silhouette.
- Using the outline of your template, trace the image on the wood.
- Remove the template. Mark the traced outline by every half an inch.
- Using the marks as a guide, hammer the nails until you see a nail on each mark.
- Pick the string that you want and tie it around one nail.
- Loop the string around different nails until you see the desired result.
