I created AfricaWatch as part of a UW 154 creative project. My goal is to take the interactive map on the front page and be able to--in real time--map links to news sources such as AfricaNews, BBC, Al Jazzera, and others directly onto the map, where the event occurs. Currently only Nigeria displays information when clicked on. I would like to thank wikipedia flags for helping provide images for this section.
