Me and Coco
Hello! My name is Tara and I am currently a Lingusitics major, with a focus in computational lingusitics / computational syntax. I was born in Hannover, Germany and, since my mom is German and my dad is American, I have dual citizenship. I grew up in Florida with my parents and my sister. My parents have always loved traveling and I have definitely inherited that trait. I have traveled to many different parts of the USA and Western Europe (I am a huge fan of mountains). On top of TAing for 154, I also work part time at a horse barn as a stable hand and work at Bay Laurel Catering / Central Production Kitchen on campus.
I have a pet hedgehog named Kevin. He's almost 1 year old. Hedgehogs are nocturnal so he sleeps most of the day and is more active at night. He has a wheel that he loves to run around in (which occasionally wakes me up at night). Kevin eats regular hedgehog food and he occasionally gets mealworms, fruit, vegetables, and cooked meat as treats.
