At the beginning of every section, we will hand out a set of problems to work on as a section(without the aid of the TA). At the end of ten minutes, one answer to each problem needs to be handed to the TA. We'll be grading these solutions and posting the scores here to pit the sections against each other. One week's section is worth 30 points.
The purpose of these contests is to bring out energy in students during section by riling them up with some friendly competition. It is also a good way for us to get a good feel of how progressed the students in the sections are.
