Exam Dates
The dates of all exams this quarter can be found on the course
calendar. Please plan to take the exams on the scheduled day at
the scheduled time.
Exams
- Midterm 1 (as given, without
corrections or handouts)
- Midterm
2 (test as given, plus code files for #18)
- Final Exam:
Midterm exams w/ solutions will be posted here sometime after the exam
date. To see your graded final exam, please see Pim Lustig, the
Course Administrator (Allen Center main CSE office), after the second
week of the following quarter.
Format for Exams
The in-class exams are closed book, closed notes, no
calculators permitted. You will not need any paper of your own, and you
will not need to bring a Scantron form (unless announced otherwise).
You will need a couple of #2 pencils. The exams will consist of a
number of short-answer, multiple choice, and fill-in-the-blank
questions, plus a few longer programming questions.
Old Exams
Webs for previous offerings of this course may have some or all of the
exams posted. Remember that because of differences in quarter
schedules, topic order, and instructor emphasis, the questions on old
exams might not be representative of what you may encounter this
quarter. Also keep in mind that exams as posted may not include
information given to the class at the time the exam was given, such as
handouts, corrections, announcements, etc.
