Hi, my name is Hayoung! I am currently a third-year student studying computer science and political science. I was born in Seoul, South Korea, grew up in Vancouver (WA, not Canada), and moved to Seattle for college! I came to college unsure about whether I should study computer science. Thanks to this class, I realized my passion for the field. Since then, I've done research in misinformation at the iSchool (don't hesitate to hit me up if you are interested in research), co-founded a data science RSO (poddata.org), and planned social and career events for the UW Association for Computing Machinery (UW ACM). Outside of academics, I love to play Settlers of Catan, drink coffee, and work out at the gym. This is my first time TA-ing for CSE14X.
