Announcements

  • Project 3 is posted on the Assignments page. Here is an executable of the final program.
  • Project 2, Part II is due November 16th at 5:00.
  • Project 2 is now available on the Assignments page.
  • The Project 1, Part III due date has been changed again … it is now Wednesday, November 3 at 5:00.
  • The Project 1, Part III due date has been changed … see the email archive for details.
  • Project 1, Part III is on the Assignments page. Note that because of the tables included in the assignment, it might be clearer to print it out using Internet Explorer rather than Netscape. The due date is November 1.
  • Project 1, Parts I & II have been posted. The due dates are Monday October 25th and Wednesday October 27th.
  • The eTurn-in has been set up for Assignment 5. This is a web-based form in which you simply type the name of the files you need to turn in, which would be the .frm and .vbp files. The eTurn-in is self-explanatory.
  • Friday's quiz will test material covered in Wednesday's lecture (Chapter 8 in Fluency) only.
  • Read Chapter 8 in Fluency.
  • Read Chapter 7 in Fluency and Chapters 1&2 in Visual Basic 6.
  • The Quizzes have been moved back to Fridays. The original dates are shown on the Exams page.
  • The Quizzes have been moved from Fridays to the Tuesday following. New dates are shown on the Exams page.
  • Assignment 2 has been posted under the Assignments page. It is due Monday.
  • Assignment 1 has been posted under the Assignments page. It is due by Friday.
  • Lab sections will be held in Collab 1, beginning Thursday. Find Collab 1 in OUGL, turning right after the turnstiles, in room 142.
  • There are a few errors in Fluency With Information Technology. They are listed on the errata sheet.
  • Sections AE and AH are being canceled due to low attendance. Students in those sections should change their registrations to attend another lab section. All sections will meet at their regular times on Tuesday 26 September 1999.

Caution: This may be the coolest class you ever take at UW
