Adjust Image Color

Since the image of Mount Saint Helens is dark, you'll want to lighten it so that it would look more as if it belongs in the Red Square image.

1. Click on the image of Mount Saint Helens to select it

2. Go to Colors > Levels (i.e. Go to the "Colors" menu, then select "Levels"):

You'll see a dialog box (see below) that allows you to do many things. Feel free to experiment.levels dialog box

2. Move the "Output Levels" slider (the little triangle under the bar that starts black and the left and goes to white on the right). Stop when the sky looks about the same brightness as the sky in the Red Square photo.

Next, you'll be cropping the image of Mount Saint Helens to remove the lake reflection and the text.
