Make copies of images for lab
1. Start by making copies of these two files on your desktop (to see the page from lab #3 which describes how to download images, click here):
(As you work, remember that if you make an error and decide you want to start over, you can always download the images again).
2. Open GIMP
3. Open the two photos in GIMP (Choose Open from the File menu). Your screen should look something like this screenshot. You should see both photos on your screen.
Next, you'll lighten up the photo of Mount Saint Helens in preparation for inserting it in the Red Square photo
