Some of the questions you may not be able to answer immediately, for
two reasons:
1. Some of them depend on things you will do in Lab 0 on Wednesday.
2. Some of the Web areas needed to answer certain questions (e.g.,
the announcement archive, Message Board, etc.) may not be
available until Thursday.
Take a look at the questions now, and if you can't answer them
immediately, take another look at them after Wednesday.
This assignment is intended to help you become familiar with the course web site and all of the help and resources that are available for the course. This assignment will not be weighted heavily in the final grade, however, it does count and you will be expected to be comfortable with all of the items mentioned for future assignments.
You should submit a paper copy of the questions and your answers at
the beginning of class on Friday, January 5 7. Be sure to write your
name and section number at the
top of the page. Your student ID is not needed. Without the
section number (AA, AB, etc.) your work is likely to be misplaced and
you won't get credit for it.
