FIT 100, Spring 2002

Fluency With Information Technology

Required Reading:

Lectures:

All lecture readings are listed on the class calendar.

FIT is the acronym for the class course pack, Fluency With Information Technology

All numbers after FIT on the calendar indicate chapters to be read by class time on that day.  Pop quizzes will usually cover readings for that day.

Labs:

There will always be required reading for the labs.  Even if it is only to read through the lab itself before your lab section.  Labs for the entire week should be reviewed and readings done by Monday.

Labs will usually be posted on the calendar page by the previous Friday.  Always check the top of the lab itself for the readings.  Any electronic readings noted on the labs can be found at:

https://eres.lib.washington.edu/coursepage.asp?cid=1113&page=01

Pop quizzes will be given for lab readings and can take place in lecture or in lab.

Projects

Projects will be posted by the date shown on the calendar.  Reading the project through before the next class meeting will be an ongoing reading assignment.
