By now,
you should have formed teams that will work together to complete a smartphone project. Each of the two parts below is to be
completed by the team with only one copy turned in per team. For each of the two parts below submit a
PDF file using the dropbox tools. The two files should
be named as follows: HW3-1-yourteamname
and HW3-2-yourteamname.
1.
Describe your team. List the
following: your team name and how you came up with it and what it means to you;
the names of each of the members of your team; and the rationale for why this
group of people will form an effective team (consider work schedules, skill
sets, temperament, approach to problem solving, etc.). This should fit on a single page.
2.
List a minimum of two ideas (three is even better) for your team’s
project. For each idea, explain the
general concept in two or three paragraphs including: an example of its use
(usage model); why you think it will be useful (utility); and to what type of
user (customer). Use one page for
each project idea. Include a figure
or picture if possible (it is acceptable to just scan in a hand drawn sketch).
It is
highly recommended that you spend quality time as a group discussing all your
project ideas and making sure that each person is heard.
Grading criteria
2 pts (++): For full
descriptions
1 pt (+): If missing an idea or two or incomplete details
on group formation = 1 point
