Below are links to pages containing several different panoramas or image groups. For each group there will be a page containing a shrunk down version of the panoramas from both the demo application and from my own code. This page will also contain any details about the making of the panoramas and note the discrepancies between the image generated by the sample version and the image generated by my version. There will also be links to the full sized versions of each panorma and to a panorama viewer with both panorama's available.
In general, the panoramas turned out well when run through the sample application even given my shakey photography. All of the results from my implementations suffer from extra edges appearing where on the photos. I found this confusing since I very explicitly set the alpha level in the blend normalizing function to 255 and to 0 during the implementation with no real change in results. For whatever reason, either this value was not getting translated back into the final image or my understanding of what this was supposed to do (control opacity and transparency) was incorrect.
If the panorama's fail to load, hit the refresh button. Sometimes the java applet fails to initialize.
