1. Consider the following settings: a datacenter, a laptop machine connected to the Internet through both wired and wireless ethernets, and a mobile device connected to the Internet through a 3G and a wifi connection. Pick one of these settings and discuss as to how beneficial would MPTCP be for the setting.
2. Efficiency and fairness are at loggerheads. Justify this or discuss this in the context of MPTCP.
3. Discuss the fairness properties of a MPTCP that transmits multiple flows over the same network path.
4. Discuss how the congestion control of MPTCP differs from the congestion control of regular TCP. Discuss how this relates to MPTCP's efficiency goals.
5. Consider a bottleneck link which is traversed by long-running regular TCP flows with varying RTTs. Does TCP achieve fairness with respect to how the link capacity is allocated to the different flows?
