🎉 WAHOOOOOOOO, you're here!! We are so excited for you to join us this quarter. Please get to know the course at the syllabus.

We want you to enjoy and succeed in DATA 514! In addition to lectures and sections, there are several ways to ask questions or engage with the teaching staff:

• Visit support hours! This is the best place to get personalized, hands-on debugging help and to work with other students who may be struggling with the same bug as you are.
• Request a 1-on-1! If you need extra time, can't make it to existing support hours, or want to discuss something privately, please request a 1-on-1 with us. There is a request form on the Ed message board.
• Make a public post about course content on the Ed message board, where they benefit the whole class. This also allows other students to answer your question, which may yield a faster response than contacting only the staff. This is the best way of asking questions about class-related topics.
• Make a private post to just the course staff using the Ed message board. This is a good way to ask questions or discuss issues privately.
• Send anonymous feedback to the instructor. She will share the issue with others only as appropriate, but will not be able to reply to you without also addressing the entire class.
