• Given a single-layer perceptron

  • Assume threshold units (sgn)
  • Assume binary inputs and outputs
  • Forms a linear hyperplane defined by
    • Take wo to be a threshold

• Consider a single output

  • Inputs must be linearly separable
  • Example: AND
