The procedure
- Tape cell comes in with known particle location
- Orient piston depending on whether cell is a 0 or a 1
- Particle pushes piston outward
- Increasing the entropy by kln2
- Providing free energy of kTln2 joules per bit
- Tape cell goes out with randomized particle location
