CSE590D: Computer-Based Learning Environments

This quarter's seminar is a continuation of discussions started in Winter. The focus is on approaches to the incorporation of simple game elements into other educational software. Specific examples include games implemented with the INFACT IWindow technology (T. Robison), games such as Nim presented in the INFACT Sketch tool (S. Fan), the creation of movies starting with games (A. Morozov), the authoring of game environments for Second Life (K. Weusijana), and collaborative authoring of "PRIME" games as a design exercise (S. Tanimoto).
