Project 2:
Mosaic Stitching & Panoramas
A Lazy Day
at
This image
combines three “whistles”. First, it
contains multiple images of me and Sean.
Second, several images of Sean and I were backlit, so the scissor tool
was used to mask those areas so they could be brightened also, a small copy of
Sean’s head was added to the fin over my head.
Third, the Frisbee was moving in the picture. This created issues, because there were
actually two Frisbees. One was removed
in Photoshop and the other was masked and had the red from the image
boosted. The original image can be seen
below.
Angled
Suzzallo Staircase
This Kaidan Head Image was taken at a 40 degree angle, and was meant to
throw off the views balance.
View from
the Hill
This handheld image sequence
was photographed from the kite hill in Magnusson park. The image is blurrier than anticipated. The Lucas Kanade settings were 6 levels and 6
steps. I believe part of the blurring is
caused by inaccurate overlap guesses in Lucas Kanade since the ovelap varied
quite a bit between pictures.
Vertical Suzzallo Reading Room
|
This is a vertical view of
the Suzallo Reading Room. The Kaidan head
on the camera was very loose, so the additional weight of the camera made it
so that every click did not correspond to 20 degrees. The results using the software were poor,
so this image was hand blended in photoshop from the warped images the
software output. |
