Purpose of Course:

To introduce the topic of Computer Vision to PMP students. The course will discuss all three levels of computer vision: low-level vision or early processing, mid-level vision or feature extraction, and high-level vision or analysis.

Evaluation:

The grades will be based on a combination of homework assignments, midterm, and final. The assignments will be programming projects of 1-3 week duration. Several packages will be available for basic image analysis operations. The TA will provide help with this aspect of the course.
