The movie (please see below for instructions):
DESCRIPTION
Our movie (plus audio clip) shows our adaptive subdivision-surface renderer
in action.
Includes sequences that:
- compare the quality of the standard (non-adaptive) scheme to our scheme
- show what happens when only certain features (e.g. sharp silhouettes)
are enabled
- show different views so you can see what's happening on the back and
side of the object when adaptive subdivision is being used
- and much more! :)
We've also included an audio file that's nicely synchronized with the movie.
Be sure to check it out! (See below for instructions.)
INSTRUCTIONS
Open up (but don't start) the movie file and the audio file in the players
of your choice. Then start both of them playing at the same time.
(This "manual synchronization" is an unfortunate result of the fact that
combining the video and audio into a single file causes playback problems on
many machines, due to the poor tools we had available. ;-).
Enjoy!
