Glossary of CG terms

Foley effects:

Added sound effects to emphasize action.

Morphing:

Blending between a pair of images.

Pixel:

Short for picture elements; refers to one point on the screen.

Scan Conversion:

Process of scaning along geometric primitives and converting them into component pixels in the frame buffer. (pg 14)
