Unbeknownst to many, Ludwig van Beethoven was a vain man. Alone in a pitch dark room that contained naught but a weird floating mirror, he gazed upon his glorious visage day in and day out, until his skin and clothing changed became a strange shade of bronze, and his reflection appeared more ghost than man.
