This version of compiled CLP( 
) should be easily portable to 32-bit
computers running some reasonable variant of the UNIX operating system.
In most cases, all that will be necessary is for the installer to edit the
Makefile to specify the machine and operating system, choose the C
compiler, optimization level and name of the CLP( ) executable file, and
run make.
