We would like you to submit your homeworks electronically
(except for drawings), by e-mailing each homework as a plain-text
message to the TAs. Here are the guidelines:
combine all your answers, except for drawings, in a single
plain-text e-mail message. Do not use attachments,
MS Word or Visual Basic formats, or encription.
Drawings (diagrams etc.) can be submitted on paper. You can do the
drawings by hand or in the graphics editor of your choice. Unless
it's in ascii, you should submit drawings on paper (not
electronically).
Put the course number and homework number in the Subject: line,
for example, 505 hw3.
You do not need to write your student number.
e-mail your homework to both the TAs: jonal@cs.washington.edu, vass@cs.washington.edu
your message should arrive by the beginning of the class on the day
the homework is due. Drawings, if any, should be submitted at
the beginning of class. Otherwise, your homework will be considered late.
Your email should include, as appropriate for the homework:
code. Please include everything necessary to run your programs,
including trivial definitions from lectures if you use them.
Comment your code; comments should be reasonably concise.
output of the program, the interpreter, etc., showing that your
code runs.
verbal answers/comments etc.
whatever else is requested by the assignment (except for
drawings, see above).
Be sure to ask your TAs if you have questions, especially if you get
"stuck." Good luck!
