Real-time Routing Assistance for Metro Bus Passengers using UBC
by
David Parrot
Getting from point A to point B can be a little more complicated than
getting on the first bus you see and then getting off at the end of the
route. This project seeks to leverage the Ubiquitous Broadcast Computing
framework and combine real-time bus delay information with route
schedules to assist anonymous passengers in knowing when and where to
board and exit buses as necessary to reach their destination, allowing
passengers to retain their privacy while receiving the benefits of
personalized information.
