UrbanSim Indicator Browser

The core of UrbanSim is a simulation of urban development which
incorporates the effects of land use, transit, and public policy over
the period of a few decades. This simulation incorporates a large
amount of output data in a format this is not easily human-readable.
However, the results must be credibly presented in a way to facilitate
analysis and policy decisions. Our research focuses on automating the
mechanism of creating such visualizations through a web-browser based
interface. Challenges include managing a farm for the computationally
expensive database queries and presenting the data in a clear and
credible manner.
